I don't really care for Yaoi. That is all.

...

...

Ok, the readon is anal sex. I hate it! No matter who does it! There's poop down there! It's gross! And since Yaoi does that a lot, I run away from it.

Ok?

I just don't like it...

I can understand finding out which sex writes more fan-fiction in general, but Ranma 1/2 isn't one of the bigger fan-bases out there, so I wouldn't expect anyone to have any real idea of which sex writes more fan-fiction for it.

Simple observation. Perhaps it's shifted in the last few years and all those endless Ranma/Akane pointless ships on FF.net I don't pay attention to are written by gals, but certainly most of the fics that actually get talked about have male authors. And yes perhaps there's a few cases where the author doesn't say, but they usually do in some way or another.

Which has the notion that only male authors can write fanfics worth reading and female ones care too much about romance.

It's a reason why my gender us unknown. I need to remain neutral.

I think so too that Ranma/Akane shippers are mostly female, but only in English fanfiction. When you look at the Spanish fics there is not a single one that is not Ranma/Akane. Seriously, just check it out at ff.net. Not a single one.

Almost all of the Ranma/Ryoga shippers are also female I think.
And that's the bottom line 'cause Dumbledork said so.

What I don't care for in fanfiction is terribly done gadfly made and hooked up pairings that aren't developed.

Especially if the characters involved in the pairing are the most unlikely/unexpected/unbelievable.

But when that happens it's not uncommon for authors to go AU and change fundamental things that would otherwise prevent such a pairing from happening. ;/

I wonder if the "she/her" designation for vehicles and other such things is a remnant of that time, or if it had developed in another way.

Yeah, the messed up love stories make me groan. Especially the love at first sight one "WE'RE LIKE TOTALLY SOULMATES EEEEEEE!!!" thing.

Same here, except for when they're totally are due to story elements. Reincarnation is a normal concept in the eastern religions, so it's bound to turn up more legitimately in Manga/Anime.

Heh, would be interesting situations if Ranma/Ryoga, Mousse/Ukyo or some other odd coupling were legit soulmates due to story properties.

Started before that. Wouldn´t be surprised if that cemented the use though.

England attacking what? Have to take care of those evil uppity terrorists.

Reincarnation romances annoy me. A ton. I'm glad Inuyasha deconstructed that.

Having the fact that you were in love in the past life as the only reason you're with someone is incredibly stupid in my book. Sure, it can cause an attraction. A starting point. But that squeeing love thing? *bleh!*

It being in fanfiction might be why it gets a bad rap. -_-'

I'm talking around our third presidency when England started attacking again even after they lost the colonies in the American revolution.

This is why I consider the English Anerica's greatest enemy and wonder why they were helped in WW2 besides the reason that they were with the French for no reason!

Those uppity formal jerks are not to be trusted in my book!

On topic, the angsty fanfics that just try to make the whole thing a whine rest to greate angst is annoying.

I also don't care for the characters to insist that Ranma have a life outside of martial arts!
