A remake of a---at least in my opinion---legendary AMV: Jinnai and the Bugrom - Live. ...I'm sorry, but this cracks me up whenever I hear it.

It helps to know Washu-chan can forget about experiments for centuries and her lab is so large that she might not even be close enough to hear it if Ryouko were to blow up the area. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if that device were completely suppressing her powers making it an even worse trap than Yosho used on her.

I'm saying that it's probably worse.

Especially at the end of the video how Ryoko ends up desperate, terrified, and pleadingly calls out to Washu by yelling 'mommy', and how it's so 'dark' and 'lonely' and that she 'doesn't want to be alone.'

When she was trapped in the cave for those 700 years, her consciousness was fully awake, and she could feel the cold and loneliness while trapped within that cave.

With that video and mechanism, it probably seems like a throwback to the cave. Cold, dark, cut off away from everyone else, most likely powerless, etc.

And then how at the end of the video, it shows Washu holding a video camera and stating 'You're so cute, little Ryoko' and 'This is what they mean by the pleasures of motherhood.'

If you can find it somewhere I hope you get to see that clip in original language. There are some nuances that just don't carry over in the dub.

This is the first I've seen of a Ryo-Ohki episode 20.. I wonder why it wasn't included even in listings of the episodes I've seen before.

Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki is made up of three OAV sets. I think the third one was only released sometime in the past few years. What was shown on Cartoon Network was the first two OAVs.

I know it's just adding all the episodes I have on hand for the 3 ova's it comes to 19 episodes. And the events of this one with a second disruption of dimensional space wasn't included.

Episode 20 is a special episode. It's known as 'Third Series plus 1'. That may be the reason why you weren't ware of it.
