Ellen: ...Week of 10/5/2020: Euge's Saturday Afternoon. Curtis is letting me pick the songs this month, so I went with one that's much more my speed.

...And yes, I'm aware that several prominent singers/musicians passed away recently. One of them I'll select a song from next week. The other I'll leave in Curtis's hands come November, since Van Halen's really not my speed.

Ellen: ...That would be Johnny Nash, known for his song I Can See Clearly Now. Which is also the selected song for 10/19/2020. ...Van Halen died as well, but his brand of rock isn't something I especially enjoy.

"The early years of 'The Game' coincided with the early years of MP3s. One of my friends liked Final Fantasy, and he used caricatures of characters from the series rather heavily in role-playing. This song was one of the first MP3s I ever had."
