Rolled an online d10, ended up with #7, and for the week of 4/1/2019 we get: Tank!, from the Cowboy Bebop OST.

Well there are two series. Maybe more now. I like them because some girls put on robotic super suits and kick ass when even the army gets blown away.

If I understood the plot correctly, there's some sort of massive corporation that builds human-like robots to handle all sorts of jobs, right?

Almost, The company makes the Boomers, The robots that help with all the work. Military has some but they still have their tanks and weapons still handled by human soldiers. The boomers rampage so much there is even a police division dedicated to dealing with them. But in the end only the girls working from a secret lair under the Silky Doll dress shop really get anything done!

...Huh. That actually sounds familiar, and not in the "I've seen something like that before" sense of the word.

I know not a unique premise. its the characters and their stories in the series that make both amazing.

((It happens. Just like I vanished the first half of the week.)) I actually found it because of fanfiction. Ranma got changed into Priss complete with Motoslave in the story. I think Gosenkugi was James Bond and Kuno was Indiana Jones. It was one of the semi-crossovers I didn't know anything about when I read the story.
