Shi Shi Hokodan?

As a person who loved the manga, and hated the anime, this is a question I regret having to ask. In the whole Mokotakabishia/ShiShi Hokodan stroyline, what did the two blasts look like in the anime? What collours were they? And were they ball blasts or beams?
Also, apart from the perfect Shi Shi hokodan, what sort of offensive power did they have?

Balls are the form. Although I don't know if that arc actually made it into the anime - I seem to recall someone mentioning that they were randomly fired off in a movie or two without R&R going through any kind of learning process. No idea on the colours - I think it's universally accepted that SSH is green, but I'm not sure what anime does to MkT (I've always been of the opinion that it's yellow).

Also, apart from the perfect Shi Shi hokodan, what sort of offensive power did they have?

Honestly? A punch. Maybe a hard one. And it's all kinetic, so it really grates when people have someone get burned by a MkT.

Hmm... I found an image blueish shishi hokodan, but I am pretty sure it is universally accepted that it is yellow-green.

They are ballish in the manga, and beams in the anime.
Hitting each other with them is like a rather hard punch.
Hitting other shit with it blows up real nice.

Mokou Takabisha (though not identified as such) is red-gold in the second movie.

In the last season, I think it was 7, they do the story arc with the energy blasts. The shishi hokodan's color was usually red once shot out if I recall, I do know the perfect definately was. I seem to recall the takabisha as being golden if I remember correctly. I will rewatch that episode this evening and post my findings then.

Shi Shi Hokodan is indeed red in the anime, at least the series anyway. The Moko Takabisha is gold. Sorry, I forgot about this.

I wouldn't know, but assume it has to be either a colored page from the manga, or shading issues that are hard to decipher....
In the anime, I believe Akane's anger aura is

Well google image search for Shi Shi Hokodan returns three images of a blueish tinted ball/beam.

Those are from the movie. In the anime series it is clearly red. It is shot like 15 times or so, everytime being red. The ultimate is definately red as well. I froze the frames and looked, both on my dvd player and my computer. Red in all cases.

Ah. So red it is. I guess that would explain the fixtation with having one of them be blue though.

It might come from the video games. In 'Hard Battle' and 'Super Hard Battle' the Shi Shi Hokodan was green.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember in the Tomo OAV ranma's blast that distroyed the pool was a HUGE DBZesque blue beam...
Of course, in the OAV Akane had big breasts too...
