Since Rei-chan is quite a bit older than her body suggests, I could see her using lipstick anyway.
Great piece of work Val. I can only hope the one I requested turns out that good. I don't know how difficult it might be to draw a Skaarj Hybrid - epsecially a cybernetic one - in anime style. Still, a challenge like that could be good for practice.

That makeup is too heavy all around. The eyeshadow makes her look like a kid that was playing with her mother's makeup. Her mouth is the wrong shape for lipstick of any sort; instead of defining the lips, it just looks like she was eating something and got it on her face.
Given her apparent age, I suggest no makeup at all. Still, it's Rei's picture, so if he wants to keep it.... (shrugs)

The makeup doesnt really show much in the smaller image anyway so its not a big issue. It looks good and at least with the smaller version the make up highlights naturally. With the larger one id have to agree it may look better with a subtler aplication. Though with that change I dont know if it would still acheive the desired effect on the smaller. The rest of the image looks pretty spot on with really nice fading, texturing and highlighting. The soft cloud background is especially nice.
The line in the hand looks a little out of place to me for some reason though I cant really define why.... Perhaps to strong of a color contrast to the other hand shading present. Overall any faults I could find are minor or due to artistic taste. Id give it the S-Class stamp of approval. Very nice.

Well, I couldn't find any with the rocket launcher (which is annoying), but I did find some with the shock rifle. This one has it being carried by the guy on the far left, and on this one it's the main focus of the screenshot.
