Searching for a lost Ranma fanfic.

Look for a ranma fanfic for a friend , he been looking for it for the past few months. which I haven't been much help sadly

I think I remember that one. Ranma's back gets broken and by the end of the fic Ranma's a Teacher and practicing the art again.

yea I kinda remember it too but I cant remember it, just he remembers which is not much help, do you remember the name or who made it?

Sadly if I did I would have said it. But I'm blanking on the author and title too. Its one of the problems with reading parts of 10-15 fics in the same week on average. (Some times as high to 5 a day)

That reminds me of one of those old stories from one of those old authors... Like Lawson, Hammel and Neef. It probably isn't from either of them, though. I wish I could remember so I could be of some help. ;/

I remember one where he saves Nodoka in female form -- before they had met -- gets amnesia, and ends up getting adopted by her (and eventually they both go to the Tendos to "meet her brother" and such). Is that the one?

Possibly Gary Kleppe's "A Peaceful Life". An FFML archive should have it, as will probably several fic libraries.

I recall another story in similar vein: Ranma is chased by the NWC, falls off a bridge, is injured severely, manages to restart his art, is injured again, ends up a school teacher (high school or uni level). Can't find the fic, though.
