crossover idea twists

Where stuff about fanfiction that doesn't fit into any other category goes. Try to make sure that new topics here actually couldn't actually go somewhere else.

Right now enough of this. If you must continue then get thee to the punnery. I'm lonely waiting for you there. Now Back to the topic and no more of this silliness.

Hmm Death Note/Haruhi fusion with Kyon playing L and Haruhi playing Light...

or if that is not to your liking then a cross between Heroic Age and Ranma where Ranma is found with Age on Oron, only since he is not the Hero carrier and he turns into a girl he ends up relegated to guarding the princess. maybe have Age turn into Ranma instead of Bellcross?

A Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles / Heroes crossover!

At the begining of Season 3, Hiro went into the future to see what would happen if the formula was not recovered.

What if he found a post-appocoliptic wasteland, where humanity waged a gorrila war against the machines?

Hiro returns to the past to stop this horible future, knowing only two names- John Connor, the savoir, and Hana Geltman, the mother of Skynet...

(For those who watch Heroes but dont read the comics, Hana was a person with the ability to access computers remotely (like Mica). She died in space, but uploaded herself to the internet as an AI.)

Dungeons and Dragons (80's cartoon) and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

The characters of Dungeons and Dragons wander into the country of Ivalice, where they hear of rumors of a boy who wanted to "bring back the world into normal". If this Marche is telling the truth, then helping him might mean that they could go home... at the cost of the destruction of the Realm.

But isn't that the standard cost that keeps them from going home in the D&D series? I mean they occasionally get some people they know from their former real daily lives showing up and manage to rescue them from the world but for them to get out they have to give Venger everything he needs to destroy that dimension.

I don't think Venger is interested in destroying the Realm. His master can already do that (and almost did; stopping for unknown reasons). Outside his master's goals, Venger seems to be more interested in conquest, and the weapons give him a boost over Tiamat, the only power in the Realm greater than him (or at least, the only power that's not bound by rules like DM seems to be that's greater than him).

In contrast, Marche's quest will result in the complete dissolution of the Realm.

For the fic to work though, certain things about D&D canon have to be changed (or not, if Marche is wrong). If the story goes with the premise that Marche is correct, then D&D episodes where they travel back home (such as the one where Venger shows up at the amusement park) have to be changed/deleted -- that simply isn't possible, because in FFTA, Ivalice _is_ earth, not an alternate dimension. If the story goes with the premise that Marche is wrong, Marche and friends were brought to the alternate dimension of The Realm, and that Marche's quest will possibly do things but _not_ restore it to earth.

Has part of her duties to the TSAB, Nanoha gets sent to investigate a strange dimensional distortion that seems to be covering an entire town, and disappears.

One week later Fate is sent in to find her.

The name of the town is ... Silent Hill

It's other way around i think... Nanoha is too stable to have more then minor problems with SH.

That's the point.

Fate would have an interesting time finding out just what the heck happened to Nanoha. Which would probably be saved for the big reveal of the hell ending, with Nanoha has the next incarnation of the so called "god".

And a UFO ending omake just for the fun of it.

In Yu Yu Hakusho, there is a liquid called the Potion of Past Life which can turn a person into whoever they were in their previous incarnation (including personality, memories, skills, and power levels) for a few minutes. Kurama uses it to turn into Youko Kurama before he figured out how to do that under his own power.

With most people that stuff would be useless, as there would be no telling who or what one was in their last life, but what would happen if the Senshi got a hold of some? They know exactly who they were the last time around.

Depends on how much they can get their hands on. A single-use potion wouldn't do much except possibly act as a deus ex machina in certain combat situations (Usagi + Serenity = massive power boost?).

Hilarious idea.

So far I met only one Looney tunes crossover "Ryoga vs the Road runner".

Happosai goes to war against a minor deity of the Discworld: The Eater of Socks (It considered pantyhose to be part of its diet).

As a bonus, Ryoga can be tormented by the Cheerful Fairy.

And people can try to get Akane to stop spreading the worship of the God of Indigestion.
