Dumbledork: Yeah, from reading the manga and all, I tend to get the feeling that the first Pluto who appears is just what she says she is: A guardian of the gates. It is her job and life. I tend to not believe that she has complete omnipotence. She may have some, but it merely comes on a need-to-know basis.
And perhaps I should attempt to show the sparring session... if I'm not all crapped out from the length of the story already.
Also, I believe the Nanban Mirror is destroyed and gone. However, the time-travel object I do have in mind is the Time Turner from third year. The fact that Dumbledore gave it to a 13-year-old -- even though Hermione was careful -- wasn't exactly a smart move in a way, and Hermione used the thing daily.
... Seriously, what would happen if Laira ate the Time-Turner? I fear that the idea is too frightening.
About the clothes shopping part. To be perfectly honest, I was well on my way to being sick of the whole 'let's do more girl stuff' angle.
Borgrabbit: thanks for the corrections.
Honestly, after I did the scene where Ranma was tinkering with her invention and wearing goggles, I kept having flashes of Ed from Cowboy Bebop.
Red hair, goggles, white shirt/tank-top, barefoot, creative and intelligent, eccentric, and a few other things. Then I went on and named the floating cat head Ein. That's when I made the crazy connection.
It's scary.
