Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha

Talk about other General Anime and Manga Series here

As a gamer, I've found the best power you can have is to NOT be 'first target'. In a game, you want to be somebody they enjoy having in the game. In a real battle, things are otherwise. In either situation, the sudden overkill tends to target the sudden overkill, and vice-versa.

Now healers and all - they really come into their own when you're dealing with a campaign or a war. Sounds like Shamal. (Mind you, I don't know for sure. The torrents are slow tonight, and I feel a disturbance in the ISP. But I'll be watching once I get Striker downloaded.)

If you don't mind lower quality, I'm pretty sure the entire series is on youtube. Just finished ep 12 myself.
There are times for magic, there are time for martial arts, and there are times for giant Tiger-Dragon Robots that have both.
Beware the Otaku. He commands a mech that can unleash 123632 gigatons. Thats the equivalent of shooting Chicago, and knocking down ever building from Colorado to Maine.

Have half of it in torrents. I'm not much on YouTube - I didn't buy a 22" LCD monitor so I could watch that much compression. So I'll just keep on downloading, and it should be all here by the weekend.

And with just a few moments ago, I finished Nanoha A's. XD

So the manga of Nanoha A's includes a kind of epilogue-type thing?

And holy hell, I loved how they did their magic attacks.

No, the A's manga is another take on the anime. The StrikerS manga covers a portion of the time between A's and StrikerS... including this memorable little scene, which is only briefly touched on in the StrikerS anime.

I'll have to check it out before I watch StrikerS then.

Damn it, I keep wanting to include some kind of element of Nanoha in one of my fanfics. The easiest would be to include something within Wild Magic, but not make it a crossover. Just an element of some kind. XP

Good luck with that. If you find a copy that's been translated into English, let me know; all I have is this one scan someone touched up and plugged into a torrent of mostly Nanoha/Fate fanart.

The series sounds interesting and all, but I'll have to wait a little while. Free time hasn't been kind to me, and it keeps changing course with a bunch of different diversions. Maybe some other time.

Like I said before, A's is my personal favorite. Though StrikerS has a much more military feel to the TSAB and the events that unfold.

Even after watching A's three times (at this point, considering a fourth watch-through), I still grin in delight when I see Nanoha reloading Raising Heart; something about seeing a magical girl slapping in a fresh magazine just delights me. :D

Alright, Hayate has been pushed into fourth place among my favorite characters in the Nanoha series. XD

1. Reinforce
2. Arf
3. Vita
4. Hayate
5. Fate
6. Nanoha

Yeah, Graf Eisen's first "lock and load" montage does the same thing to me. Vita vs Nanoha: Round 1 is one of my favorite scenes in the entire series, right up there with Subaru's "Saiyan Moment" in StrikerS 17.

1. Reinforce
2. Arf
3. Vita
4. Hayate
5. Fate
6. Nanoha

Mine looks something like this:

1. Fate
2. Hayate
3. Nanoha
4. Subaru
5. Signum
6. Shamal

Right, to be one of the cool kids, here's my top 6:
1:Subaru
2:Reinforce Zwei (DESU!)
3-4 tie:Nanoha/Fate
5:Hayate
6:Signum

I just <3 GGG-tan, while Rein reminds me of Suisiseki with the constant Desu.

Hmm.... Considering the manga as well.

1. Subaru
2. Nanoha (Mostly cause of how much collateral damage she tends to cause when she pulls out the big guns.)
3. Yuuno (Even though he was barely in StrikerS, the magic librarian is still cool.)
4. Hayate (Mostly because she's far too modest. IE: Claiming that she wouldn't be able to beat any of the forwards in a one on one fight.)
5. Chrono: Just because.
6. Vice. (Snipers are fun.)

Claiming that she wouldn't be able to beat any of the forwards in a one on one fight.

She might actually be telling the truth there. Lord knows she's way more powerful than any of the forwards, but Hayate specializes in wide-area attacks like Diabolic Emission, which aren't really all that suited for one-on-one fights. That's especially true with someone like Subaru, who can get in close pretty damn quick. If Reinforce I was still around, she'd have access to all the spells she gained from draining Linker Cores during A's and it would probably be a different situation, but Hayate and Rein II would be better off using their powers to bring down battleships and smash armies and so forth.

Comartemis: Right after seeing the first episode of StrikerS, I learned who the character you have in your avatar image is. I like how Subaru has those skates.
