And as a side note, it hardly would've been the first time Jon bought clothing for his pets. A vacation storyline from the mid-to-late 90s comes to mind, where he dressed up Garfield and Odie (the latter as a girl, no less) to make them look like his kids when it came time to board the plane. I admit that in this kind of weird AU timeline of Cat-Girl Garfield and Dog-Girl Odie, Jon would definitely likely treat them more like his daughters of sort.

I learned today from a customer I was chatting with at work that there's a condition known as 'Hell's Itch', which happens after a really bad sunburn that burns an underlayer of your skin, and the constant throbbing pain feels like fire ants are biting you all over under your skin

Had that after a really bad sunburn on top of a prior sunburn back when I was in grade school. Lost 1/3 of a Summer vacation letting my skin heal from that because after getting sunburn digging a hole without a shirt on I let myself get burned again 2 days later at a prearranged trip to a water slide park.
