Anyone else annoyed by all the call for Isreal to stop it's attacks? The only reason Isreal started bombing Gaza was because Gaza was already sending rockets and missiles at them. Then there's the report about a kid who died via an Isreali missile, but the truth comes out and it wasn't from Isreal, it was an Hamas rocket that missfired. Why isn't the media and the Politions telling Hamas to know it off, their actions are killing their people more than Isreals.

800,000 rockets over the last 3 years. But also HAMAS DECLARED WAR. After Israel did a single targeted counter attack. There is video of it the car was blown up with the terrorist in it and no other cars on the street even showed damage from it.

Sad thing is CNN is broadcasting Aljazeera lies that even the NY Times has debunked.

For years, that's all that matters to news people. What gets people to watch instead of getting informed.

There should be a law that says it's only called news if it's news and not opiononed people dissorting facts for ratings.

No if it were ratings they would not have gone on this BS path more than a week when it showed it was tanking them Just like it has repeatedly tanked ratings doing the glowing reporting on Obama.

If you look at the ratings from Nielsen and the stories being reported on over the last 5 years then they have absolutely no concept of a higher percentage of viewership being a good thing.

That leaves the only possibilities being they are too stupid for their jobs or them having an agenda.

I don't think broadcasting in an attempt to have the audience agree with them is the way its working.

Looking up the writings of Walter Lippmann, Edward Bernays, and Saul Alinsky could help with the perspective though.

No, what I mean is that if they're anti Israel, they will only show things that are in their favor and ignore facts that aren't.

If they are pro Israel then it's the opposite.

So a nation that has repeatedly in history shown it has only fought in self defense and even returned land after conflicts when it would not compromise national defense, more than 4 times in history, and is a stanch ally of the United States of America. Not to mention the only Constitutional Republic in the Middle East and defender of the Holy sites for most of the religions of the nation. That has no national interest to the United States.

Still not finding a way to keep the Press from looking like they are fighting to end the public perception that Israel has a right for its citizens to survive here.

Lastly, it also could be that they want to break the news story first and so do so without finding out all the facts. Which is why ratings is the reason for this!

Broadcasting a lie 27 hours after a News Paper of all things had a full printed expose on the lies of the story that they are re-broadcasting. Had it been say 4-8 hours after the lie was first published but more than a whole day after it is debunked in print with sources. Almost 2 full days after the event. That is not rushing to get a story out. Again Failed excuse for the media.

And the only reason there are rockets coming out of Gaza is because Israel is making that place hell on earth on a daily basis and have been busy doing since they stole most of the land that was meant for non-jews to live in.
And THAT happened a few decades after the people in the area were promised indepence.

Israel kills thousands in Gaza regularly, and Hamas causes a handful of deaths, at most, in the same time and you showcase the horror of Hamas causing one friendly casualty?

Why isn't the media and the Politions telling Hamas to know it off, their actions are killing their people more than Isreals.

Riiiight... People in Gaza are barely allowed to work the agriculture that does exist, Israel controls nearly all the water, anyone trying to use their fishing boats are blown up, exporting produce is nearly impossible, importing things is ridiculously complex and can take years just to get a truckload of concrete delivered, and of course few people have the ability to pay for it so they are heavily dependent on emigrants and aid organisations for that, and Israel skims a LOT of that money in various more or less corrupt fashions.

And how often does a month go by without a hospital being bombed by Israel in Gaza? How often does people die or end up with permanent damage because they were not allowed past Israeli checkpoints? Despite having proper papers and permits even...


Shall we look back and think a little? "When was the last time Israel was not attacked on a regular basis"? Answer to that is that it was when Israel actually was close to behaving civilised. But since Rabin was murdered, Israel dances to the tune of the "Greater Israel" crowd, and "disturbing" tendencies is merely business as usual.

That´s so absurd it´s not even funny. Overall, US media is heavily pro Israel most of the time.

Have you ever done a serious comparison with what Israel did in the meantime? Israel has used over 10 times more explosives on Palestinians in that time. And far more still if you count weight of munitions used.
Have you any idea of the amount of ammo for personal firearms Israel spends against Palestinians yearly?

And of course, 800.000 is complete bullshit. The numbers given by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the last 3 years is 365, 680 and 2273 (as of 21st November).

It´s not even feesible to launch over 700 rockets PER DAY!!! Even USA and Israel TOGETHER can´t do that for even ONE year.

Funny thing... The first thing Hamas did after getting elected? It was to say they were willing to start talking to Israel. Everyone promised them that after elections real and serious talks would begin, then the wrong people win and all bets are off. Hamas wasn´t exactly gracious about it but they asked for talks...
