Saotome + Lovegood

Looking for crossover fics where Ranma Saotome and Luna Lovegood are active characters involved in the plot and also interact with eachother regularly in the fic. You know fics where they are actually at least acquaintances that would care that the other one is there in the same crowd.

I'd love to read a few of these, but sadly, good HP/Ranma crosses are few/far between.

By far the best example of this particular plot point, however, has to go to Hikari no Daija: The Serpent of Light coauthored by Miriani and MageOhki.

Luna isn't that obscure a Potter character... I left the limitation as loose as I could without going simply having them mentioned in the story. You'd think there would be more fics that fit out there.

The big issue that I see is that there really isn't all that much in terms of good HP/Ranma fiction out there to begin with. What little there is usually is focused on Harry/the trio side of things. Or Neville, for some odd reason.

Well he is the other character that was born in a time frame that could have matched the circumstances that were released early from the Prophecy.

This all sounds disturbingly like saying 'he who must not be named' or 'you know who'. Make an interesting story, Happosai is actually Vol- er, you-know-who's grandfather. It would bring the storylines together for Ranma to meet Luna...

Happosai is too innocent a character.

Those that want to check out that Neville/Happi connection will find it in Dreamingfox's "Neville One Half" and "The Other". Just don't be too surprised if the former leaves you feeling like you've been rolled down a mountain in a barrel.
