Are there any good Ranma fics where his heart crystal or star seed get taken for a believable reason? And how does Ranma's crystallized whichever compare to others in those stories? Links appreciated not just names.

Wasn't there one story where Pluto or something had it taken from him and it ended super duper dark with 'her' dead. Pretty sure Mamoru was the Tendo's cousin and thus locked Ranma's fiancee in it. Pretty popular story but I never got into it, nor do I have it archived.

Edit: Seriously you can't remember the author? Contrast Match by Weebee. Shame it was discontinued. Wish he had at least released his outline.

There's probably a fair amount more than what we've listed, given the number of Ranma/SM crossovers out there. Seriously, though, that's the one I remember, offhand. For some reason, I want to say P.H. Wise's Reflections of Ruin did it, too - but I doubt it, and I really need to re-read it to be sure.

As I recall, Ranma's heart crystal does not get taken in Reflections of Ruin. I could be thinking of the wrong fic, but if that is the one where he is Saturn, I'm fairly certain that it does not happen. Not 100% certain without re-reading, though. In all of the other Ranma x Sm crossovers I can think of, he keeps his heart crystal/star seed/ dream mirror.

Has anyone seen any crosses that involve the Dead Moon Circus arc? It just occurred to me that fanfiction tends to ignore it completely. With good reason, I admit, but still...

Yeah, I'm fairly sure I remember it doesn't happen to Ranma in Reflections; it's just that for some reason, some minor part of my (lost) mind wants to think that it does. o_O That's why I knew I should re-read it, to be sure.

I vaguely remember reading at least one or two stories, a long time ago, that did include the Circus, and Ranma interacting with at least Tiger Eye... but that was years ago, and I couldn't tell you which story or stories included it.

Ranma's pure heart crystal was removed in Different Colors. Removed in chapter 13, resolution in chapter 14.
