No I do not have nor want a Google account and that is the problem it is now mandatory for YouTube.

Adobe Flash player is a vile spyware! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_cookie I just followed the advice and found several dozen files on my hard drive used by various sites to track me online. And this bypassing the browser safety mechanisms! :evil:

Even Firefox on Ubuntu is vulnerable

I wonder is ability to watch YouTube is worth having that Adobe crap in my system...

Also, they say M$ Silverlight and HTML5 are the same crap.

I cleaned out a couple Java Jar trojans the other day. So long as you keep checking and cleaning up what happens its not that much of a risk.
