"Guess That Anime" Game

Okay time for something a little more serious. From the logo at the top right corner, it's apparent that the series was broadcasted on Tokyo Broadcasting System. So that narrows it down. It looks to be rather recent, possibly post 2003 or so, although that's a little hard to tell. If the book is about local folklore and legends, it seems like there is some kind of mystical/historical/demons/magic/horror element to it... possibly.

No, although this is a DVD rip so I don't know how the sub group cropped the original file. But I think we can assume that they changed it....

^_^ Not that it'd help much all things considering, I know at least 9 different series that use this similar style. Another 14 that could be mistaken for this style...

I know more than 20 that could be mistaken for the style but many of those are hand drawn. This seems to have computers at least handling cleaning up the characters and shading.

Meh, I usually like to choose really random anime. This one is an example of one such "random anime". There's a commentary about the education system buried in this particular anime, although that may or may not help. In fact half the plot involves convincing someone to go to school.
