Looks like someone's trying to recover their ball from a Nukker Hole among the tree roots. The hand looks a little bit older than most kids hands get drawn so I'm not even certain the red thing is a ball.

You are right that it's not a kid's hand and I don't think that's a ball, if it's a ball you should think more mouse ball than toy. In any case the person is not trying to pull it out and those are not tree roots.

At first I thought the series might be too obscure, but then I thought it might not be too obscure for this forum in particular. I might have been wrong, but there is a specific reason I thought that.
