I find that both slightly disturbing and highly intriguing.

Though I do wonder how /that scene/ in End of Evangelion with Shinji and the comatose Askua would work in that case.

Oh god.. now I can't get that image out of my head......

... can you imagine the implications of that one scene where Shinji-chan gets absorbed into the angel, and is approached by the various casts asking her to become one with them?

I don't really see how it's any worse than it was originally. Just different.

I think alot of the reason people find it disturbing is that if you're already used to them with a certain gender it looks more like they're just playing crosdressing than actually being a different gender, especially since it looks like they just took the original footage and doctored it some.

Well, you know when you have that part in your brain that's just telling you "Don't do it! Don't you dare do it?" I have one of those moments right now. Here's an actual music video and I remember seeing when I was in middle school that I myself found sort of funny. Although as a warning this is an extremely sickeningly gory video that I'm aware alot of people found to be incredibly disturbing.
