I've been writing a fanfic and planning to have Shampoo learn a "ki shot" technique, along the lines of Ryoga's Shi Shi Hokodan and Ranma's Moko Takabisha... however, I'm unsure what emotion to use to power it, as the techniques seem to rely on using emotions that are of particular 'resonance' with a person's personality. Can anyone suggest anything for the emotion and, if possible, a name?
For those of you who don't have the foggiest what I'm talking about... the "ki shot" is a generic technique that enables the user to utilise the ki based upon a specific emotion and project it as a blast of concussive force/spiritual energy. Because the ki shot is based upon using emotions, different users create their own different variations of it, because proficiency in its use requires that one be most accustomed to feeling that particular emotion.
Ryoga, the first one to learn the technique, uses the Shi Shi Hokodan, or Lion's Roar Shot, variant, which is powered by his depression. As Ryoga is a melancholic (melodramatic, sometimes) type, accustomed to feeling depressed, this technique works wonders for him and his in fact his favored technique once he learns it.
Ranma, on the other hand, has a much lighter personality, and was thus forced to create his own variant, Moko Takabisha, based upon the emotions he was most used to feeling; confidence, pride and aggression.
