Ranma Age Mushroom Limitations?

hmm, couldn't find this in either Ranma or this topic, so......

In Ranma, I'm pretty sure most of us are aware of the Aging Mushroom incident through canon or equally likely, a plot device....

However, I haven't read through that volume in a loooongg time, and I don't remember if there are any limitations on how many centimeters long it can get....

Anyone know for sure?

I remember one growing about as long as a forearm. So guessing arround 3-4 Decimeters limit wouldn't be too much of a streach. I know I didn't see any get anywhere near that large in the brief glimpse of Ryouga walking through the area and roasting some for himself.

Yes, the big one was around 40 centimeters. It died shortly after that though, appearently from natural causes. I think it got overwatered, and grew quicker than expected, though I don't think mushrooms work that way in real life.
