New rank structure

Okay, the official list as of now is the following:

Lurkette|Lurker (1)
Browsette|Browser (10)
Regular Girl|Regular Guy (45)
Lady of Fukufics|Lord of Fukufics (200)
Asteroid Senshi (500)
Moon Senshi (1,000)
Prism Power Senshi (2,000)
Crystal Power Senshi (4,000)

The first four rank titles may be changed later to match the theme, but the goals to reach them will not.

Crescent Pulsar mentioned elements like Ginzuishou, sailor Chaos, and chibi chibi crystal power. While "Chibi Senshi" might work as a replacement for Lady/Lord of Fukufics, I can't quite see how the others might fit in. Any suggestions for the first four ranks?

A star seed is the basis for all of it, so that could be one of them. And star seeds come from the galaxy cauldron, so newly-registered people can start out as raw material in it. Sailor crystals also seem to come with "sailor power guardians" (mini mini-mes ;p). There's also a time where the ginshuishou (silver moon crystal) of the future, that now belongs to the pink spore, is called the pink moon crystal.

The ranks sound pretty cool even though I am way at the bottom. I don't spend much time on these forums much at all. I think the additions are cool.

We have two Moon Cats already. Moon Cat Advisor is a special rank that was given to a couple of folks who are consistently helpful and active, and who everyone else agreed deserved them. They were awarded along with another rank that is now called Moon Queen Emeritus, which was given to Acey for being voted as the most all around awesome member of the forum.

While those three ranks were intended to be subject to a quarterly vote, the three original recipients will hold them indefinitely.

That's because the quarterly elections turned out to not work. No one participated in nominating new candidates when the time for the second election came around.

So, you can't have a special rank for just any reason, with the exception of already having one from way back in the day, like Himitsu?

We are very sparing with them so that they mean something, instead of handing them out like candy. Himitsu's was given to him by Stacy, and it's sort of grandfathered in.

Not that I'm unwilling to make exceptions, if the situation warrants. An example was my offer to give Ellen one to cover her time as an Asteroid Senshi because she said something about plans to customize her avatar for the rank it replaced. Since she was going to do something special for the rank of Sailor Starlight, I have no problem with giving her the title since I rather arbitrarily removed it from the regular list.

The problem I see with your suggestions is that the rest of the senshi ranks are the scale of power levels Sailor Moon went through, in order of appearance, except for Asteroid Senshi and Moon Senshi. So they don't quite fit.

"Chibi Senshi", one of your first suggestions, fits alongside Asteroid and Moon Senshi, so it's a candidate... although I wouldn't mind of a better way to phrase it.

If the ranks are supposed to coincide with Senshi power structures... then the first two levels--- "Lurker/Lurkette and Browser/Browsette" don't quite fit right?

....also do they have to be canonical? Why can't we make something up or pull something from fannon? Or you could pull the Regular Guy/Regular Girl as the "first level", and then have a couple of titles in-between that and "Lords and Ladies of Fukufics"...

......although I can't come up with anything....."Royal Guards" or something?

That sounds pretty good. Let's just hope no one will get offended by having a title of Spore.

How about removing Asteroid Senshi and making that a Lunar Guard. They would be like the standing troops if you think about it.

You'd only be a Spore for your first 9 posts. I think they'd get over it.
