Remember the Muppets? Specifically, do you remember Animal, the drummer from Doctor Teeth and the Electric Mayhem? I can see Akane doing that.

And crossovers have already been done. Ryoga saved the day for Pigs in Space, once.

Heh.

Poor Akane. Now she feels insulted and has turned her back on all of us.

However, it seems I'm not the first to cast Akane as the group's drummer - just came across this image:

Who in Eva would you consider even remotely moe? :D

I don't easily picture it for the Ranma characters, even if that new picture you posted refits Mio as Ukyou. :)

J. St.C. Patrick wrote:Sure, with the drumsticks the drum might not last, and Akane could beat a tattoo on Ranma's skull, but they are like chopsticks so he might be defend himself

Akane and a guitar...

You've never heard of El Kabong?

(btw: which calendar song?)

Yes, but I'm not sure I want to picture Akane suddenly appearing out of nowhere just to bring a guitar down upon Ranma's head and then leave just as abruptly, yelling, "Kabong!". :P (Multiple times, in different places, of course.)

It's this song. And, yeah, I'm aware there's a strong drum presence in it. :)

She'd need the extra hair, first. :P

I don't know... would Akane have the patience for the drums? Now, I'm wondering if even the bongos or a xylophone would be a good idea...

Do you think they might try some opera? Stereotype Akane is built for the Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore!

Stereotype Akane would insist upon pitching all of the anvils around, herself...

In a world where only girls can do magic, a trip to Jusenkyo gives Ranma a chance to
take the Saotome School of Mid-Air Combat to new heights...

Inspiration for these pics comes from many sources. and you helped with that one . . .

And so, on to a new pic . . .

Seems that Ranma fell in to the spring of the very young girl . . .

Um The design aside from hands is identical to artwork from a copy of Red Riding hood that I use to look at when I had the chance. Didn't actually read that copy because it was printed in German and I didn't get to handle it often because it was rather old and the wood book cover was inlaid with real gold. I wouldn't be surprised if the Studio looked up some old German artists works in children's books to help improve the design.

Actually it becomes an freakier crossover when you realize that Asuka's doll is really a hand puppet - ( freakier still would be a Midori Days Ranma - or has someone already done that as a fic?)
