Yah, I've registered here... Aaaanyway, I'll have to turn to Google image search for reference pics of Hotaru (local TV channel showed only the episodes from the start to the end of the Wiseman arc). Never really drawn toddlers and babies before either, just chibis at best, so this'll have something new for me as well.
I'll see what I can come up with... no guarantees, though, especially when it comes to how soon I have prelim sketches done.

Thanks a lot, these'll do very well! (As I hadn't yet even begun to look for references...)
... and with four tails in the pic, I now feel I understand the cartoonists who decided that eight fingers is enough for their characters (/me fights temptation to make kitsune-Ranma fly around with his tails like Miles 'Tails' Prower...). I'll try to do the nap time and tail-tugging pics first, maybe after them I can get somewhat decent art done (ie. expect the first ones to make you want to gouge your eyes out with a spoon and/or want to mallet me with Skull Basher Mk. CXI) with at least some passing resemblance to the characters in question.

Baby Hotaru is so cute!!!!! I'm definitly considering getting a Hotaru plushie at Fanime this year now.... maybe a Ranma one if I can find it.

Cute! I'm very glad I have a good dentist. I'm going to have to stock up on mouthwash at the rate this is going though.
So, Ranma is the papa, Ami is the mama, and Hotaru is the daughter, right?
