A Ralts in Moonlight Chapter 2 (Chapter finished)

I think a fun combo you could try using the Annie Oakley pair is making the team all girl and Oakley a niece of Professor Oak A family Black Sheep.

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking about using Annie and Oakley. They are both sisters.

Of course, at the end of the fifth movie, they are captured by the Police. This doesn't mean that they can't get out sometime, though.

I didn't know they already got used. But Jail does seem to be a good place for Team Rocket to do recruiting.

How about Doc and Holladay (spelled that way for a 'girlish' name). Jane and Doe, John and Browne, Miles and Otis or a larger group "Dunce's Wolves" (like the three stooges).

Or, if its a parrallel enough world—Ryoga and Akane with entirely different personalities.

Maybe Ranma could pick a good human to associate with, Like Kasumi and some of the nerima cast could be pokemon. Shampoo could be a persian?

After a great deal of thought, I decided that I won't do a scene showing what's going on back in Ranma's home world at this time. *It would just seem awkward, and I really have no interest in writing that scene*


With that said, I need to figure out a good transition to 'a few days later' after the scene where Ranma finally figures out how to use his abilities. What I'm thinking about is possibly having a couple people who heard the young trainer's tale of a 'powerful Ralts' walking around the area. This would allow a good few days later transition starter.

I could do that, or I could have Ranma take a break from training and decide to go with Shia and gather some fruits and other things -- because he's feeling bored sitting around the clearing, -- and they end up encountering the couple of people I mentioned.

Hmm... I'm going to have to do a little pondering on this.

Ranma getting bored with training just after a breakthrough doesn't fit to me. How about having Ranma trying to force the block to go away repeatedly till he passes out making the family have to force him/her to take a break.

Personal opinion. Wouldn't the feeling work better as contentment?

You need a present tense dodge here the extra d doesn't fit.

Hitting her in the nose or hurting her cute little nose but hurting her in her nose makes it sound like they were fighting while completely inside her shnoz.

I'm not so certain Ranma would have lost. Sure he's weaker and psychic abilities aren't there yet but I doubt Shia could even imagine just how far this young Ralts would go to avoid defeat.

True, maybe I should go back and redo either a little of that scene, or have Shia use a different reason for interrupting the fight.

No it's good as it is. I mean there have to be some things for her to learn of Saotome not just the young Ralts learning.

I like this history very much, despite my ignorance about Pokemon.

Please, please, don't add more crossovers, and go back to Nerima. It would detract from the history.

Wonder if there is a way to prevent a ball working with a pokemon. (Outside of a pokemon being previosly caught by another ball.) I also wonder if the ball brainwashes the pokemon, since I doubt Ranma would be the only adverse pokemon towards slaver and forced fighting.

Also, wouldn't ranma be able to comunicate with trainers? What about writing? (Genma-Panda Style)

wonder why there aren't more pokemon attacking humans. Perhaps there is some law that would put a price to any wild pokemon that attacks an human (because the responsible for trained pokemons are their trainers, one must guess)

I'm not planning to have any other crossovers in this story, and I also don't plan on having Ranma go back to his home dimension.

While watching the anime, I've seen some Pokemon manage to escape being captured. I believe that if a Pokemon uses a special ability, is strong enough to attack the ball, or possibly have an even greater desire to NOT be captured, then the Poke Ball might not be able to capture them.

As for brainwashing: I actually think the Poke Balls might have a slight feature that influences the creature's thoughts of the one that captures it. The influence isn't too large, but it does its job by causing the Pokemon to trust and listen to the one that captured it. This doesn't mean that it works on all Pokemon though. Some who are more powerful, have a superiority complex, feels that they know better, or just completely hates their trainer will completely ignore orders.

Ranma will be able to communicate via telepathy, but he'd need to learn how to employ it first. The idea of him pulling signs out of nowhere has an amusement factor to it.

Edit: As for Pokemon attacking humans. I've read information and Pokedex entries about Gyarados and how they are known to actually burn whole cities to the ground. So it goes to show that Pokemon are a lot like wild animals. Some are much more dangerous than others.

Also, an Umbreon is actually able to secrete poisonous sweat when agitated. XD

In the first 3 games (Green blue and red) Orchid clearly says he can't let you leave the village because Pokémon attack anyone. In the Anime that isn't shown as much and later games like Safari don't really exploit it but if that early dialog were ever played to the hilt then it would be a much different world.

In a way the game painted a picture that people couldn't leave the towns safely without Poké protection. I'd assume that would make it so that travelers would want to be accompanied by trainers. Just in case something too strong came along Say a school of Gyrados.

Yeah, and unlike the 'kid friendly' appearance that is often painted, some of the Pokemon can be quite freaky and evil.


This thing is a Drifloon -- ghost/flying type, -- and it's around one foot tall. In its Pokedex entry, it states that it tries to grab children to steal them away. The Japanese Pokedex entry, though, states that it attempts to grab children and take them to the 'Land of the dead'.
