He's lucky he didn't catch Happosai - or perhaps a plastic Happosai figure.

The rest of the world is eminently grateful for that.

Now, if I can claim to have a favourite magazine, it's most likely this one. It was a magazine for TV tech enthusiasts. There were articles and columns on TV repairs, TV DXing, and the building of enough bits and pieces through the years to furnish your home TV studio with a full chain of technological jiggery-pokery, starting with your home-built cameras and ending with your home-built televisor.

Naybe I'm barking up a wrong tree, but I opine that the ANARE code (http://antarctica.kulgun.net/History/WYSSA/) was originally compiled in a copy of "Bentley's Complete Phrase Book" (https://archive.org/details/bentleyscomplete00bentrich). Its private use code words match those in the ANARE code, as far as I can tell.

Ran across the art for "Gunslinger Moon" on Florestica — and I'm glad no-one had thought of hand-turrets back then. Imagine the damage that an Iowa's handheld 16-inch triples or a Richelieu's 15-inch quads would cause.

The archive is damaged and incomplete but still a useful source of old Sailor Moon ani-GIFs.

The Wayback Thingy also has some of Lady Jupiter's moonie-graphics site(s).

ION, I found (and installed) some old Firefox-style chiptune plug-ins. They seem to work acceptably in K-Meleon. MOD Plugin (npmod32.dll) plays Amiga MOD files, SIDPlug (npsid.dll) plays Commodore SID files, and StSound (npym32.dll) plays AtariST YM files. Now to see if this works with the <audio> tag, too.

Then you obviously have to try some of the old goodies out.
Can't rely on youtube for everything after all.

Oh, I do plan to raid the Interwebz for more MOD files.

Aside: {url]http://digitmania.birdbrain.net/index.html[/url] has enough counter and clock digits for even Count Count.

Nope, seems that <audio> has a hardwired list of types it will acept, so <embed> and <object> will have to do. Oh, well. Still neat that one can use SID and MOD files as background music even though one won't do that a lot..
