What's Ya Favorite Non-Ranma Anime?

I chose Sailor Moon for the same reason Rei-chan chose tenchi....
But only out of the options there (BTW, ugh-man, Naruto comes in second from that list...)
My favorites from outside the box are Bleach, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, and Akira (though it seems THIS one was mentioned...) in order.

Sailor Moon (not a real big fan, many episodes seemed to get repetitive)

Meh, I'm not overly fond of mecha, apart from Eva, and Gunbuster too, but the latter is mostly because of the stupidly powerful bomb, and the whole 'slice Io in two' thing, not the mechs.

Jeez, of the options available, I'd say Cowboy Bebop due to it's amazing soundtrack, excellent animation, acting in original and dubbed versions and altogether stylish presentation.
But other than that, none of those listed would make it into my top ten favourite anime.

Had to follow the majority and vote for Lina and the crew. Slayers was the first Anime I bought on DVD and it had me immediately hooked.

I actually watched eps 1 and 2 of Slayers... then ditched it as not being for me...
3 years later I'd seen the whole thing and loved it
