China, somewhere near the coast:
Ranma tries to ignore the cold rain while running through the wildernis. Some time later she pauses
and tries to listen for her pursuers. Her triangular ears on top of her head twitching to catch any
sound which could mean that the villagers were still after her. A short while later she starts walking
in another direction, muttering to herself: "Phew, i finally lost them." 'damm noisy humans'
*growl* Her soliloque disturbed through her stomach. "Why did i do that?"
*looking down at her empty hands* 'But it smelled sooo good.' "Dammit, shut up! SHUT FINALLY
UP!" Ranma starts pounding on her head in a futile attempt to stop the voices, then stilling in
realisation that the shout could lead her pursuers to her, but the only sound was the drizzling rain.
Slowly Ranma starts to move again thinking back how she got herself into this situation.
- start Flashback -
Somehow her trek through the wilderness lead her to the outskirts of a small village surrounded
by rice-paddies. Sniffing the air Ranma trysto find where the tantalizing smell comes from.
'roasted chicken... There. From this dwelling.' Slowly Ranma sneaks towards the house. Trying
not to be seen. 'It stinks here from all the humans.' Warding of a sneeze she positions herself
besides an open window of one house, where the smell originates. 'Now how to get to the food?'
"DEAMON!" Startled Ranma swirls around,only to come face to face with one of the villagers.
A short growl and baring the teeth sends the villager running and screaming into the village.
Still in shock Ranma wastes the precious seconds crouched in front of the window, but the
noises of nearing people starts to override the shock. 'Humans. Flee. Run for your life!'

The next Day.
Trying to ignore her growling stomach Ranma gazes into the water in front of her. Sweeping her
gaze over her triangular ears, her short blue hair, travelling down over the dirtcaked, tattered remains
of her training gi covering her rather large breasts to finally come to rest on the once bushy blue
tails which are as dirty as her torn clothes. Muttering obscenities under her breath she plugs small
twigs out of her tails before dipping them into the water to clear away the dirt.
Elsewhere:
A blue haired girl looks up from reading her books. Gazing with concern north-west before shaking
her head wondering what she should be concerned about.
At the village from yesterday:
The hunter smiles at the description of the deamon from the villagers. 'The prey is near. She won't
escape this time.' With those thoughts the hunter continues the pursuit.
Not far away is another hunting group:

She pulls the warm fluffy pillow in front of her closer and was rewarded with more warmth. Slowly her
counsiousness is returning... 'fluffy warm pillow?' She experimently gaves the pillow a slight squeeze
and felt the pillow cluching her closer to itself with a content sigh which served to wake her up
instantly. She slowly opens her eyes and was treated with the sight of a buxom bluehaired furry girl
clutched to her.
'blue haired girl? blue haired naked girl? blue haired furry naked girl? YOUMA!'
Barely fighting off the urge to scream, Ami tryed to free herself from the clutches of the 'Youma'
clinging to her, which only served that the 'Youma' pulled her closer and burried her face in Amis neck
with a content sigh.
The sound of the door opening serves to freeze Ami on the spot. Her mother looking inside her room.
"Ami-chan, did you leave the window open yesterday evening?" Also freezing as she spots her child
in bed with another girl. 'Ami in bed with another girl?'

We finally found the one responsible for freezing the springs. We had track her for several days. A
bluehaired kitsune girl. The matriach carefully observes her while we have to hide. A short while later
Colonge finally returns."We have to capture her alive and unharmed. So do not use bladed weapons.
We will attack as soon as she falls asleep."

It was the day before the annual tournament. The contestants collected their gear and the villagers
prepared for the festival which would follow after the winner was determined.
Then there was a blue flash from the direction of Jusenkyo and a wave of icy wind swept through
the village. Ice crystals covered everything and the people ran into their houses to huddle in front
of a fire.
An hour later the matriach and several warriors arrive in the valley of Jusenkyo. The whole valley is
covered in ice and looks strangely beautiful. Carefully the amazon group closes in on the springs
themselves where they find the guide covered in frostburns. "Quick, get him inside his hut and
start a fire. Maybe he can tell us what happened here." While several of the warriors follow the
matriarchs orders, Cologne pogos with her staff between the frozen springs to search for tracks.

This is one of my favorite scenes, it's pretty funny and I can't wait to see the final version for the reaction of Ami's mother.

Can Ranma use her tails as extra hands to hold things as well? I can easily see her carrying all of Ami's books with them to build up each tail's strength, since I assume Ami has a large number of books.

She sighs and curls her tails around herself as she feels the beginnings of an Mercurian sunrise.
Since Mercury has a rotation time of about 58.6 standard days the spectacular double sunrise and
sunset almost lasts a whole day. Due to Mercury's rotation and highly elliptical orbit, the Sun appears
to rise briefly, set, and rise again before it travels westward across the sky. The sun also appears
twice as big as on earth. The pitchblack sky slowly changing color into a very dark blue over the
course of an standard day. Due to the magic holding more atmosphere than the normal 0.38g gravity can
bind to the planet the sky even changes into a dark royal blue.

Rats.. I was kinda hoping Ranma would have a foxzila form the size of a Buick.
Oh well great start hope to see more when it's done.

I can see a large fox Ranma walking along and casually stepping on whatever cannon fodder the latest badguy uses. Then she lifts up her paw and looks at it like she just stepped in gum.

Would Ranma be able to handle Hotaru also? I can see her charging Youma and Saturn using the Silence Glaive like a knight used a lance while Ami provides tactical support from behind Hotaru.

Poor Ranma. Being blamed for everything by people she hoped would be her friends would probably devestate her. And Ami would probably be very angry at her fellow Senshi, but her reaction depends on how much she's bonded with Ranma at the time the accusation is made. But I can totally see Ranma running away in tears and meeting Hotaru then. Two lonely girls who find solace with one another and a friendship is born.
Side idea regarding Ranma's ability to posses objects: If Ranma learns how to posses a person, could she enter Hotaru's mind and duke it out with Mistress 9, possibly with Saturn's help?

Ranma would most likely be the papa, she's a tomboy like Uranus. I can easily see Baby Hotaru playing with Ranma's tails, Ranma curled up around Hotaru as they take a nap together, and singing to Hotaru. Ami would have to help train Ranma in diaper changing, feeding (Maybe have Ranma somehow start producing milk for Hotaru via magic?), and other things most guys don't know because they never played house or with dolls.
