I will agree that this story seems to be more telling than what it should be. I am trying to change that for the later chapters.
As for defining goals, I will establish them in the next chapter.
Anyone like to offer what Ranma and Nabiki will be studying while at the Galaxy Scientific Academy?

I imagine Nabiki would probably want to focus her studies on business and management probably a bit on law but you probably could get her to study some science or technology. Ranma's studies would probably be related on him being heir and be focused to manage the business empire.
