It seems like a nice piece, but I'm troubled by how... hm... quickly?... it seems to be moving. Or it could be that since I haven't played or heard of the game before, I'm missing alot of background which could put it all into perspective.

You did way too good a job of creating a good hook. It was just one relatively simple scene, just a little over a full screen long, and very clean at first glance. And yet it drives my curiosity insane.
