I don't think those two are the same company. The info i found stated specifically that it was started in 1987, and that was active until 2004.
From the link, that's ONLY a game-company and the name was already long defunct by 1987 when it became Grandslam interactive after being Argus press software since 1984. The Quicksilva that started in 1987 was ONLY a record label, absolutely nothing to do with computers.

Quicksilva the record label was instead part of:

Very certain you’re right about different companies, though ASV may have acquired the name from the game makers.

Still, a bash in the shoes to see that. Has a bloke wanting to dig out old magazines to read once again.

Finding Cassie Claire’s original LotR “Very Secret Diaries” is still easy.
Finding Bardvahalla’s continued LotR “Very Secret Journals” is harder.

A few PotC VSJournals here, but the LotR VSJs were… deleted… during the move to bardawill.com.

Tokyo's huge 'underground temple' complex isn't just a badass backdrop for music videos.

Huh, never heard of it before, and yet i recognise it instantly because it was used as a location for one episode of To aru kagaku no Accelerator, just months ago. :D

That's assuming, of course, that anyone is still interested in the battle between IPM (Impossible to Program Machines) and HEC (Human-Engineered Computers).

Anent CPU wars, I remember reading Goldilocks for Cobol. It was OK, but I liked the Fortran version better. Read it in the Twilight Zine at MIT, in the early 60s.

Shock! Horror! Probe! Woman sees naked man in men's changing room!

Reminds me of a time when a small group of girls stormed the boys' showers at school. What a gyp for them, I was the only bloke showering.
