That time was… interesting.

Paper Airplane Released Into Space (PARIS). Not as many good scenes as the one above, but an extremely interesting idea.

It might be better to not read the comments. They are chock-full of instant hypoxia experts that have just read themselves an abstract.

Ouch, that's totally golden.

Quote is up there in epic space together with Ferdinand Foch:

Student pilots gotta deal with emergencies, too.

I'm glad I'm not a student pilot. I just might have to live up to their examples.

Those events are really NOT normal or average though. I can very safely say that, with my brother being a pilot ( not as a job ) and his ex being a pilot instructor... :)

Forgot to mention that 'Captain Maggie' is the new Chuck Norris with (a part of) the Youtube wingnuts. Maggie jokes are almost as ubiquitous as Ryanair jokes, it seems.

This last Saturday the world record for the longest Mustang parade (1326 cars. Previous record was 960 cars in Mexico) was broken in Belgium... Mine is in there... somewhere...

Neat.

And a pretty massive improvement on the record.

That DC-3 is awesome, end of story.
Never knew that was done. And the comments include that it used ~"the largest floats ever made for an aircraft".
