Nothing one can do but hoist a beer in his name, which will of course be done very willingly.

For shame.

It is a great loss and to merely say he will be missed, while true, seems inadequate. His talent, his wit and insight are a loss not just to his fans, but to the entire world.
If your spirit has wings to travel, even across the breadth of a thousand, million nights, imagination will guide the way and the gates of El-Hazard will always be open to you.

I envy you of that. Reading them for the first time is so much fun. Just be prepared for people asking why you are giggling so much. (Real-life case with some of his older books.)

Indeed it is just not enough to describe the worlds lost.

I just read an interview from a few years back though, where he notes that when he can no longer write, his work will be in good hands with his daughter, and implies that she will continue the writing.
It would be nice if true, even if it´s no comfort for the loss.

Oh and on change.org , there´s a petition for Death, to reinstate Terry Pratchett. Obviously, i just had to sign it.
