Why Ranma is being somewhat civil towards Nodoka again? Yeah, he's 'upset' that Seto was interfering so much, but wasn't he just as mad at hearing Nodoka's morals? And now Nodoka is repeating almost the same things that made him blow up at her before. I suppose I could see him feeling apathetic towards her, but it's weird that Ranma would care about Nodoka's opinion - especially since he basically agreed to be adopted right in front of her.
And with Seto 'buttering' Nodoka up, wouldn't that just irritate Ranma more? She's manipulating people again after all. I dunno, been a long time since I last read Career Opportunities and never watched GXP, but seems weird to me. Does she often 'butter' people up, rather than directly manipulating people?
Ranma is mostly ignoring Nodoka, the important thing to him is that he gets in on whatever Seto is plotting and that he's going to be in charge of his love life. Sure Seto is buttering up Nodoka but it's not like her opinion really matters but what does it that it's Seto getting Nodoka to consider the manliness contract fulfilled.
I'll probably need to edit it to make it more apparent that Nodoka is a 5th wheel here and it's really a bit of a duel between Ranma and Seto that he feels he won a little too easily.
Very few grammar related stuff for this recent section. Not sure if this matters in a draft or not, but I noticed these four things.
{{..his life on Earth not be forcibly..}} - Bit of a run on or something here. Add a comma after 'Earth' perhaps?
{{Then again, I do not know my child.}} - I understand what Nodoka is saying, but sounds a bit weird.
{{...the concept of a tree ship and their enormous interior.}} - Should be its not their I think, yeah? Otherwise get rid of the 'a' and maybe ship plural maybe.
{{..very manly."His mother..}} - Forgot a space there.
On my tablet at the moment so I'll update them when I can.

The offer of polygamy I would not really see Ranma being all that thrilled about either. Most men, yes, Ranma, not really.
Otherwise, glad to see this finally being worked on, this was one I was hoping would be revisited at some point. As most of the stories I follow by this author are the older ones.
Well his big issue with Seto was expecting her to live up to the rumors he's been hearing at school. Unfortunately she did when he was in a very upset state at Nodoka.
He didn't so much give into Seto's wants so much as make her schemes more transparent. No matter what he's stuck in space now and if he throws away the Jurai connection than he can never go back to Earth. So accepting Seto's offer gives him easy/guaranteed access to home, knowledge on what's going on, and control over her match making. The royalty angle he doesn't care too much about. Especially after living with the Tenchi crew.
It's the best of a convoluted situation that he's walked into.

He is no fool and he knows that his mother is as much being mislead as he is/was and just wants the best way out. Mikigami has done nothing to quel Ranma's anger towards Seto and that just confuses his position with Seto.
In the end his current feelings about his mother are neutral and the real question we need to ask is if Seto wants Ranma to reconnect with his mother or not.
Mikagami actually did a fair amount to settle him down so he went from a destroy things rage to one that's cold and focused.
Seto wants Ranma to get with Nodoka as long as it makes a positive impact in Ranma's life. If Ranma hadn't freaked out over her setting up their meeting then she could have used Nodoka's perculiar views as a way to bring Ranma more towards her.
