I don't see why not. It's close by, she's a princess, and I don't see how she'll never transition from living in a library -- as a librarian -- because of that. Really, her becoming a princess would be pointless if she remains one in name only (for all intents and purposes) without there being any more development on that front.

Wikipedia agrees with you and says it's only the season end. The next season should be 26 episodes long. The last ep I watched of the current season was the one with Weird Al.

I think Rarity and Applejack should be switch. Venus was more of the fashion one while Mars was hard working.

I agree that Rarity should be Venus but I think Applejack is better matched to Jupiter.

While Rainbow Dash matches Jupiter on a superficial manner (the tomboys of the group and lighting/weather control) I think AJ fits better on a deeper level. Makoto may be the tomboy of the inner senshi, but one of the defining elements of her character has been how that physicality is contrasted against her being the traditionally feminine traits of cooking and keeping house (see how she turned Motoki's bachelor pad around in record time). This matches Applejack being very physically oriented and as competitive as Rainbow Dash as well as family oriented as well (running the family farm and looking after her younger sister as well as cooking). The cherry that tops the cake though is that Applejack bears the Element of Truth while Makoto means truth or sincerity.

Fluttershy matches Ami in terms of personality but Twilight matches her alignment with intellectual pursuits better.

If we're going to compare and match, there really aren't any really good ones.

Probably the only decent match is Twilight and Sailor Moon, since they're the ones with the most magical power. She's not a good match for Ami despite the intelligence aspect, because -- as anyone who's seen Twilight behave knows -- she does a lot of stupid things (her bungling is somewhat Usagi-ish, in that regard), in ways that Ami fails to match. Ami may have lacked friends like Twilight, but she did a much better job socially, as well as in responding to things that challenged her intelligence and her understanding of things.

Sailor Mars is the closest that Rarity can get, because Rei has a background of wealth and high society; she best expresses the fashion and behavioral side of her personality. Minako is less about the fashion aspect and more about being a groupie/fan or an idol herself. Before I'd consider anyone else after Sailor Mars, my next recommendation would be Sailor Neptune, not Venus.

Pinkie Pie would be better suited as Sailor Venus; the only connection that she has to Sailor Chibi-Moon is very obviously superficial. Sailor Venus is the best match out of those available, since Minako is the social butterfly and the most fun-loving and silly of the group.

Rainbow Dash is better matched with Sailor Uranus. She's more of a "tomboy" than Jupiter, and doesn't have strong feminine fantasies (like marriage) or hobbies. Haruka, by nature, is about speed (racing cars, and running like the wind), and the planet (Uranus) has its connection to the sky.

I suppose Fluttershy is fine as Sailor Mercury. She's the most reserved of the group, and wants to be a doctor.

As for Applejack... There really isn't anything ideal for her, much like with Fluttershy. Since Makoto is rough around the edges, and would have a strong sense of family once she has one, perhaps Jupiter is for her.
