"Gah!" Nadya jumps and hides behind Kitoria. She peers out carefully, warily, ears twithing, tail straight and all puffed out. "Aagh! It's a creimire assassin from the League of Shadows!" She shouts and hides. "Please don't kill me, that bounty is old and they're probably not willing to pay that much anyways!"

Kitora turned her gaze at the announcement from the late newcomer, spending a second to partake in a first impression of the woman before giving a silent nod to the thief. Just as quickly, the mithran redmage turned her attention back to the gold bearded dwarf before her, still awaiting answers to her questions but also validation to the rat girl's claim.

Konsaki wrote:“Mr. Goldbeard…” Kitoria hesitantly spoke up to the shorter man who matched his family name. “I’ve got a few… concerns I’m hoping you can answer. First off is, will the lack of these ‘laser drills’ delay our purposed start time greatly? If it does, I might go looking for a few extra supplies before we embark.”

Turning her head and gaze towards the still rambling moogle, she gestured and further asked, “Secondly, who is she, exactly? Is she a part of the research team or the escort team? I’m leaning towards ‘research’ but you never know.”

“Finally… what about those things?” The blonde haired mithra woman inquired, waving a hand towards the gearbox lupine soldiers. “Are they going in there with us? I mean, last thing I’ve heard about clockwork soldiers was a story about them turning on each other and ripping each other to shreds. I’m not so sure I want to be anywhere near that, especially since you mentioned them exploding…”

Shaking his head, the dwarf says in no uncertain terms, "No, they will NOT be coming with us ... no, no ... NO!" He almost broke off from the mirtha to point right at the moogle before she could begin complaining. "They'll have the more important duty of ... guarding the passage in case something ... comes out ... "

He was rather floundering for words to put to soothing the moogle's quickly jaded nerves on the topic, but she seemed placated enough with that statement.

Turning back to the assembled, and Kitoria in particular. "This slows us down a moment, but not to worry ... somehow I figured this would happen. I'm going to go get ... the machine ... "

Before a giant mouse appeared ...

"Ah ... our ... erm ... scouting and stealth expert?" He looked to Blair for a moment, hand on his hip as he studied her, "Well, get your gear in order, looks like this is everyone. I'll be back in a quick pop."

He strolled off for several minutes, returning to the sound of constant, but very soft motor humming. A large contraption was being guided via remote. A rather odd ... but wicked looking thing. Several long, flexible drill heads curled about the thing like some kind of wild hair. Rolling it right up to the door, the dwarf set to work.

"We've had all this calculated for awhile, the precise blasting spots, so nothing to worry about. Just let this beauty do some drilling and plant some charges, and we'll get right in."

The thing came to life with horrid whirring noises. Several of the drill heads beginning to bore into the rock at calculated points. A soft spray of water took away the dust and debris shunted off to the side as the thing went to work. Cutting out precise lengths for blasting explosives to go.

Some techies came along with heavy, magicka reinforced shielding. Setting up safe shelters from the blasts, and bringing up extra materials near the great temples doors. What pray tell would they do with those?

Goldbeard rubs his hands together with some odd mixture of glee as he watches the thing go to work.

"Ohdear.." Axi has packed her things away and moved out of the back draft area, pausing only to pluck the mini time mage up and bring her with.

"Gah!" She cries as Axi snags her from behind the safety of the other Mithran and lugs her away. She flails helplessly. "No! Help! Assassin!"

Though pleased that the job was finally going to be underway soon, Kitoria couldn't help but let out a beleagered sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Kidnapper, Nadya... Get your terms correct." She informed the flailing time mage as she followed behind the fleeing maid at a less panicked pace.

"Wow, these people remind me of the group we met at that bar in Thesia..." Xavier muttered as he switched his gaze from the two mages to the Criemire girl. "Wonder which one's the screamer..."

"Not now, Xav!" The platinum blonde woman hissed at the winged feline on her shoulder.

The Creimire gave a gentle nod to each of whom bothered to respond to her sudden introduction into the team.

Her green eyes shifted about, over each teammate. Her ears in particular constantly twitching and rotating to pick up any and all sounds she deemed necessary to know about. A person in particular caused a chuckle to escape past her thin lips. To be called an assassin, really wasn't all that far off from her real job. She had on more then one occasion been hired to not only locate and retrieve particular items of importance to her client, but at times people as well. Lucky for this Time Mage, her only objective at the moment is the exploration of this temple.

Her eyes turned the curiously dressed mage, her ears perked up at the offering of tea, " I would most enjoy that thank you." She said simply and after taking a few short steps towards the blue maid mage, she gladly taking the offer of tea and sipping at the small cup before the contents were finally emptied. She returning the cup to her with a thankful smile, having enjoy the tea greatly.

Blair only offered a nod of her head to Goldbeard as he finally took notice and confirmed her involvement in this team. before letting me scuttle off to get this machine that would help in achieving their first goal: getting past the front door.

A grin curled upon her lips as she listened to the short conversation between winged mini-beastie and his platinum haired traveling companion. It was a bemusing thought, though in her opinion is was quite obvious whom the screamer would be for one of them had been a tad hyper and load this entire time. Not that she thought negatively upon it, the dear time mage was quite amusing to watching.

Nadya eeps and hides behind Axi, quivering, tail fluffed out, hands clutched tight on her staff. She mumbles quietly under her breath, mathematical formula. "Not her!" She says, about Axi, and jabs a finger at the creimire, Blair. "Her!"

Quirking her brow, Kitoria glanced from Nadya towards the Creimire thief who had followed the rest of the team to stand in the safe area.

Yes, the rat girl had a couple of knives on her person but the Mithran Red-mage just couldn't picture the thief as an 'assassin' at all. Blair just didn't have that look in her eyes showing a blooded hunter of any type. Kitoria's clanswomen always celebrated the sharp spark to the eyes which came with the first kill and she just didn't see it in those black beady eyes; let alone the dark spark of a sadistic murderer of one who hunts their own.

Kitoria just shook her head in a silent rebuke to Nadya's claim but didn't bother voicing her countering intuition; there was just no point to it.

Blair was definitely a sneak-thief but was by no means an assassin.

Deciding to put that line of thought behind her, Kitoria turned to the Moogle researcher who was holding an only slightly mollified air about her. Curious, the Red-mage asked in what she hoped was clear Mogri, "==So, Moxi, what do you hope to find in there once Goldbeard cracks the doors open?=="

As amusing as it was to watch and hear this time mage whimper and be in fright of her mere presence, she figured enough was enough. They would soon need to get to work and if they could not trust each other enough to at least work civilly with one another, then this expedition might as well end before they even take a step past the front doors.

"I assure you, I am no Assassin. Merely a person with quick hands, quick feet, and an acute sense of hearing. I'll have you know I have not once willingly and or knowingly killed a living thing. My interests lay not upon the idea of ending others' lives, but merely continuing with my own."

She hoped in some way that her words would ease the spooked mage.

Blair was content enough to see that the others didn't seem to mind her too much, perhaps a tad weary, but not having any real issue. At least none that she's detected so far.

She eyes Blair warily from around Axi. "...Okay..." she says, suspiciously. "...you're not a bounty hunter, either, are you? Like I said, I'm -really- pretty sure they won't actually pay all that money...well, they didn't last time, anyways."

The Creimire offered a reassuring smile to the time mage.
