In the anime they obviously meet, but in the manga its crazy that they haven't on page. :/

It's not like she's engaged to his arch enemy or anything...

Does Ranma always sleep in a tank top and boxers or does he sometimes wear pajamas? And if yes, what kind?
And that's the bottom line 'cause Dumbledork said so.

I think there are one or two times I saw Ranma in other sleep wear but I don't recall it ever being by Ranma's choice. Like at the Chardin Mansion.

Cologne = elder or matriarch?

In most fics Cologne is the matriarch or an elder of the tribe. Is something like that ever mentioned in the manga or the anime? Is she really anything more than Shampoo's old grandmother who's come to Nerima to help her get her husband?
And that's the bottom line 'cause Dumbledork said so.

I don't recall her role as a Joketsuzoku mentioned in the manga, but it's mentioned in the title of the english-dubbed anime episode where she makes her first appearance. She's called both an "ol' gal" and the "leader" of the tribe. However, while I see where the "ol' gal" (obaba, which I think is a casual or disrespectful way of saying "grandmother") comes from, I don't see where "leader" does. Beyond that, I don't know.

IIRC, it´s never actually said, but rather implied a few times. So the "truth" could be either way.

This is why there is so much confusion that I don't know if it is true.

I Mena we never see much of the amazons right?

I remember researching the anime a while ago. It was definitely "o-baba". Which is, AFAIK, just a polite form of addressing an old woman, usually a tribe's wise woman or such.

Or, perhaps more accurately for modern times, a revered old woman of a family, rather than an entire tribe of people? I recall quite a few instances in other series where a grandmother's decision or council is treated with as much respect as it would come from the male head, if not even more so (especially if the family is matriarchal).

The problem is that there isn't much info on the amazons to begin with.

Heck we don't even know its govermemnt system! The woman warriors make it sound at least matrilineal for a society but who rules the place? Exactly. We don't know.

Ah, but how much sense does it make for a leader of a tribe of people to not only leave the village for personal reasons (it's no longer a matter of following the law by then), but to settle down elsewhere (in another country) for it indefinitely? It's just done done. At least, I don't recall any real-life examples of something like that happening.

True.

So it's put to question if she has any power to begin with.

Or perhaps Ranma is that important to get.

Or she's just that bored she uses her power to do that.

Or she's the diplomat for Japan? O_o
