This isn't really my opinion so much as the opinion of someone else (since they seem alright to me), but you may want to make sure that the canon characters maintain their personality and staying power.

I'm enjoying it myself, though. Looking forward to the next update.

Right now I'm kind of slowely working out the next chapter's points of interest. Addressing both the plot, and some inconsistencies as well as complaints to make sure things come out right.
