Initially when I started at my job (Courtesy Clerk at Hy-Vee at first. Sacking groceries, collecting carts, etc), my hours were anywhere between mainly between two to four hours long, with occasional longer ones on occasions. Had rather shit hours, and typically worked from 4PM to about 8PM at the latest

June of last year I became a checker/cashier, and my hours got a bit better. A lot more times where I ended up with four hour shifts and so.

Since about three months ago, I started getting days where my hours were 5PM to 11PM, and that's now my general shift for the most part, with occasional weekend days that can have some other variety. I have mondays off

This week will be busy for me considering I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 5PM to 11PM, Saturday 1:30PM to 9PM, and Sunday 4PM to 11PM.

But hey, I finally have rather steady hours, and get around 30 hours or so a week. When I was a Courtesy Clerk, I struggled to get 12 hours a week. Being stubborn and sticking with the job worked out.

((OOC: I was. At the same time, though, I'm just never really... satisfied, I guess, with the work I do. On that last picture I did, I couldn't draw Glacial Buttercup's eyes at all. I was trying to give them at least a passing resemblance to how Kaoru's eyes looked in PPGZ, but around four times or so I had to erase them and start over. Finally I got fed up enough to just draw them shut. And none of that goes into the trouble I was having drawing her customized uniform. Sailor Zeta's custom Senshi uniform was easier, since I already had something to go by.

On my previous request for Konoko concerning Callista's hybrid form, I'd made repeated efforts to try and draw her the way I'd envisioned, and it just never looked right. The eyes, the shape of the ears and face especially. In retrospect it never occurred to me to try adding Tomo's original hairstyle; that made it look much better.

The artwork I'd tried doing for Ellen in the past was giving me fits, too. I had difficulty mixing the cuteness of youth with her super-calm nature, and whenever I tried to she just kept looking older than she really was. Now that she's nearing high school age in-universe I doubt it'll be much of an issue, and even if it does, Konoko's art gives me something to work with.))
