I've never read Dragon Maid...so I wouldn't know. I wouldn't be surprised... I guess there are no new ideas....

Honestly, Dragon Maid wasn't even my first thought... My first thought was Kaiju Girls, a sub-franchise of the Ultraman series focusing on girls based on famous monsters from the show. There's even an animated series that sorta does the magical girl transformations you were talking about. Granted, the premise is that the girls are reincarnations of kaiju, rather then kaiju turned into girls, but everything else seems similar to what you've described...

...I dunno if I'm going anywhere with this, but it's there...

I completely forgot about Kaiju Girls...damn I’m getting old.

Just because it happens to not be as original a idea as you hoped Lio, there’s nothing stopping you from putting your own spin on the concept. Seriously if you stop and think what would make them more unique. How about magical kaiju girls that gain their magical girl forms because some type of accident bonded them. Maybe it’s because of the cybernetic replacement pieces each girl has thru some procedure, like amputated limb replacement or enhancement

Kaiju-turned-magical girls...

That sounds like a fun thing to draw.

Well, if Godzilla ever wanted to make a spectacular entrance, he could always use that dropkick from the Megalon movie.

Posting a link to an image that I was initially going to put over in the Touhou thread in Games, but decided that it was too worthy of Spamville to leave it there.

Because very much yes.

Links awakening. I thought he was moving to slow so I turned on my DS and bought it from the E Shop, in downloaded fairly quickly and by he end of his video I had not only caught up, but got farther than he did. That's with a bit of exploring on my part.

That's far better than I ever did. I tried to play the game once, and I never got out of the opening area. ()^_^

I beat it year ago, so I guess I have that advantage, but that was ten or fifteen years ago.
