I have an old---and I do mean old---computer that has the fan (and most likely the power supply) due to be replaced. Quite frankly I'm not looking forward to having it done, since my personal experience with hardware only goes as far as installing the occasional hard drive.
(As for how old the computer is, it's old enough that it takes a minute or so just to boot up Windows 98. Make of that what you will.)

(Yeah. I keep it around because it runs some old games and other programs that, for some reason or another, the other computers in the house [including this one] have difficulty running.)

Still have an old Contura (Compaq) laptop at home that has Windows 98 on it. Haven't started that baby in years, but last time I did it worked fine.

(Better than mine. I've had my laptop for around eight years now, and it gets increasingly flaky each year. Though in all fairness, it was refurbished when I first got it.
On a side note, it'll probably be a couple days before I'm able to get back to stuff around here. I'm thinking I'll take the opportunity to rest up a bit.)
