((OOC: Yeah, pretty much. Among other things, my mom's been getting concerned again recently at how much time I've been spending on the computer; I went to make at least some sort of attempt at getting more sleep; and I may or may not have a piece of artwork churning around in my brain.))

I've heard of that, but I've never looked into it. The "Atop the Fourth Wall" thing, I mean. What's that supposed to be? :?

Atop the Fourth Wall is a series of internet reviews by a man who goes by the name of Linkara. He reviews/riffs on bad/lackluster comics in a snarky and comedic fashion. Basically similar to the Nostalgia Critic.

Haven't watched his stuff in a while. One of the downsides is that he often inserts needless 'story plot' into his reviews that sometimes bogs things down and distracts.

Normally he tries to keep that stuff after the review, and when it's in front he tells you when to fast forward to to skip it. I like the story line myself.

Hmm... I'll give it some thought before I look into it.

RedLetterMedia is my go-to for movie reviews.

Nostalgia Critic for movies and Linkara for comics other than that I don't do too many review shows. Occasionally I check out Black Nerd.

I generally prefer full-bore reaction vids myself.

I can't really recommend RLM because they do a bunch of different things, so you may like one thing but none of the others. Those being...

re:View: two guys chatting about notable films from back in the day in a casual, relaxed manner.

Half in the Bag: often discussions about more recent films, bracketed by a series of skits.

Mr. Plinkett: making a review in character, most notable for reviewing Star Wars (from the prequels onward) and Star Trek TNG movies. The review of Phantom Menace is what got RLM started.

Best of the Worst: a bunch of guys watch several B-quality or worse movies then go over them and try to figure out which one was the best.

Then they do various other, shorter things, like this and this.
