Don't worry about it. :P

Anyway, progress with Growing Up has been slow. I finally made it to the last scene, but it's also going to be the hardest one. X_X

Huh? No way. Just the start. This story's so big that I seriously doubt that I'll ever finish it.

Which can't be said for the average dinner in these parts.

I tend to skip dinner, but end having snacks, so is worse than not skipping it.

Ugh. I went in some weird direction with the perspective, for some unknown reason, and it wasn't until I was ten-thousand words in that I decided to change it. -_-;

I wonder if anyone would be interested in a thing at FF.net for short stories. Like, I have some ideas that I think might be amusing, but they're not really the kind that one could call a story: they'd produce a couple hundred words, maybe breaking a thousand every now and again. For instance, the one I'm currently thinking of writing is just an alternate ending for Ranma 1/2.

Just post them, nothing odd about posting shorts.

I´ve considered this:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4875607/1/The-Lift
an excellent use of the extremely short story format, ever since i found it. Just 43 words and still a complete story, and rather funny as well.

Just don´t do as some rare "writers" do and post a bundle of "stories" that are really just chapters in the same story. THAT is when it gets damned annoying and nothing else.

Well, I'm kind of experiencing a writer's block. It's more like there's something distracting on the block, but it creates the same effect. I think I can poop out a short story while I try to get the ball rolling again, though.

Well, while I do have a backlog, that's not the cause. :P

Whoa. I almost forgot about this thing.

Well, there's nothing much to say... I finished playing Atelier Escha & Logy a day or two ago, so my focus has firmly returned to the land of the literary.

Looks like the next chapter of Growing Up will be at least as long as the two before it combined, which'll make it the longest chapter I've ever written if one-shots and old stuff don't count. I'm having a bit of a crisis with perspective, though, so I'll probably have to work this thing over good once I'm done writing it. Should be fun.
