The pitch of the vacuum picks up as the speed of the pull now accelerates. More Shards of calista zip past Neko~ as well as the ice cream cart. A blue fir pine tree slams into DES and Neko~ just as they enter the mouth of the tube.

DES lands near its ice cream cart, Neko~ lands in a belly flop in a pile of fake snow next to the blue fir and the shards of the death crystal fall in a decorative pattern among the bows and branches of the tree
