I just finished watching Girls und Panzer. There was almost no sense of reality in the show -- but at least they didn't fire Chekov's gun. I don't know why, but I watched all the episodes in two days, then ordered the OVA disk from RightStuf.

The only reason I can think of is the music. That, and perhaps thinking can be overrated.
