No you're the one injecting you opinion onto my statements.

...Staying away from that one.

Not sure if I get that reference. :?

And on the subject of Undertale, I'm staying as far away as possible from that one. I looked up stuff about it elsewhere, and... it depressed me just reading about it. :(

You didn't get that reference!? You fiend! Spockie would be very disappointed in you!

How is it strictly depressing? It's got a happy ending. It's up to you if you want a not-happy ending. And it's got plenty of amusing stuff, too. And winning with friendship. Unless you're a weirdo who finds happy endings, jokes and the idea of friendship-overcoming-all depressing. U_U

It's interpretation, not opinion, and it's your fault for giving me enough room for it. :P

Definitely a good game.

My 2DS doesn't let me view Youtube links straight from the browser. :| What is it?

I didn't say it was strictly depressing, just that it depressed me in the first place. I'm a sensitive person, Crescent, and it doesn't take much to set me off emotionally. Too much, and I'm a wreck for hours.

Going with my gut on this one. I'm not trying Undertale. *grabs a pizza slice and starts eating it*

It's from Labyrinth. ;/

Your gut blows pizza grease. I don't need my own gut to tell me that, since I've got knowledge on my side. If you only play the pacifist route, it's positive and emotionally satisfying. The real problem is if you get attached to the characters and go a non-pacifist route afterward (or take the genocide route at any point, in your case), but that's entirely optional. Or are you telling me that being nice, avoiding the use of the "fight" option in battle, winning over enemies without violence, making friends of the major enemies, then being a hero and saving them, will be emotionally traumatic simply because a dark route exists, even though you certainly wouldn't go that route yourself? 'Cause that's a "I can't be seen associating with this person" level of nonsensical.

Unless you're saying that emotions in general make you ill. In which case, you might have my sympathies.

Don't know if any of you watch RWBY, but it just got a Manga. I find this cool cause there was a year where I was actually a Sponser of Rooster Teeth. I wish I could be still, but I don't have the money these days. Still it's pretty awesome how far Rooster Teeth is going these days.

To be fair, there are some rather emotional moments in Undertale sprinkled here and there. This is especially true with the ending.

While I do think that it's a shame that Calista doesn't want to try an incredibly neat game, I can tell that she just does not deal with emotional things all that well, and the ending of the True Pacifist run, and even some points near the ending of the initial run through, could potentially hit rather hard when you deal with the lore inside of the game.

ESPECIALLY in regards to the truth behind Flowey.

It's not about emotions making her ill. It's about not being able to handle things that could be emotional roller coasters, and once it hits, is likely constantly in her thoughts and gets her to keep thinking and dwelling on it for a while.

What Konoko said. And on that note, thank you. I don't think I could've said it in a way that didn't make it worse. :)

Two things I want to add to that though, Crescent. #1, anger and sadness do legitimately make me feel sick to my stomach (the former's more commonly experienced, though). #2, I did some research on the game after seeing something that Konoko posted at DeviantArt (pretty sure it was Flowey), in case it turned out to be worth trying. Everything you'd mentioned in your post, aside from the gut-blowing-pizza-grease thing, I'd known for weeks. >^_^<

Sucks to be you, then. It probably sucks to be me, too, since I'm an emotionless crag. I think I got the better side of the coin, though, since I can still take things in on an intellectual level.

Meh. Thinking's overrated. :D

I've made it a point to research whatever games I'm thinking about getting. The NPCs here think I'm idiotic for not going in blind, but I know in my heart that ain't true.

...Okay, I take that back. I'm idiotic, not stupid. *nod-nods*

Watched Cannonball Run, recently?

There's a difference? Or are you splitting hairs because you're too lazy to get a haircut and the real job that logically follows it? :P
