They are doing a reboot of that?

I wasn't a fan in the 80's too much, but with all the rehashes / remakes of Holleywood movies, this kind of crap just cements the thought that they're out of good ideas and just rehash old ideas into new formats in hopes of netting some cash.

Which reminds me... I have the original 80's He-Man series somewhere around. I should probably watch that one for nostalgia's sake. Already did that with Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors :P

What's sad though, is they did an Amazing job rebooting He-man. It sucks the had to end it where they did. This She-ra reboot... I don't have high hopes for.

The first Thundercat's reboot wasn't that bad, but it needed a little more time to hit it's stride. Thundercats Roar on the other hand is dead on rival to me.

Edit, you know talking about Reboots, I should of mentioned the one that's really amazing. Voltron. The previous continuations were okay, but the Nexflix Reboot, well it's fantasitic. I don't think the could have done a better job really. Now not all the episodes are perfect, but it has more hit to it's record than misses.

The 2011 Thundercats series WAS going to have a second season. There were even season outlines and such. However LEGO offered up the cheaper series 'Legends of Chima', and the second Thundercats series was rescinded.

Also, Alf is getting a reboot/remake.

Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a live-action/CGi movie. Something about Sonic on a road trip with a police officer trying to recover his rings, with Eggman (played by Jim Carrey) also trying to get the rings or something.

I'm willing to give the She-Ra reboot a chance. To me, the character designs honestly look more appealing than the 80's series, which is ungodly ugly to look at. I'm also pretty sure that a reason a bunch of this stuff is getting remakes is because the people who grew up with that stuff want to do things with it. Less being out of ideas and more just wanting to do more with the concept/IP.

They really need to stop making Live Action video game movies.

The Chun-li movie was decent, but it wasn't Street Fighter.

Chuckie commanding an army?

Honestly speaking I’m not much for horror anyway. Never seen Childs Play, It or Alien, beyond some snippets.

Yeah I could even sit through Ernest Scared Stupid and I'm told that ones rather tame.

I'm a bit of a mix there.

While I've enjoyed Zombieland, The Walking Dead, the Underworld series, or even Blade (not to mention the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series), those all are only partyly horror movies. Same with Scary Movie for instance.

Same with Ernest Scared Stupid, which mostly falls into the same category as Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters: Comedy with a horror twist.

No, when you get to actual horror, meaning people are purposely hunted by something inhuman, or anything that goes for jump scares every 5 to 10 minutes, that's where I draw the line. Not a fan.
