Rebecca Heineman, aka Burger Becky, has passed away. :(

The news came up on Bluesky and has been reported elsewhere.

Seriously? Wow... Hadn't heard from her in ages, and was still holding out some form of hope that some new stuff for Sailor Ranko would be released.

Sad to hear this... :( :( Condoleances to all family and friends.

I'm not sure if this a temporary thing or not, but Burger Becky's website seems to be down http://www.sailorranko.com/

Considering the status quo of her being in no position to continue it, I figure the fees that were required for the hosting have likely ceased, resulting in termination of hosting.
I do think I still have the pictures somewhere on my harddisk tho. Need to check that.

Chapters 1 through 9, with globally near 30 pages per chapter. A mere 81 MB of data, but atleast it's not gone from the web... Might need to upload it somewhere for safe keeping. Not sure if anyone else has a copy.

Then again, I have way more stuff floating about from this forum. The Spamville comics that were released a great while back. I recall there was a stint regarding Magic The Gathering cards, tho I never was into that game so I doubt I stored those somewhere.

Anyway, atleast the chapters and their contents should be pretty much saved. And I guess that's the best kind of legacy Becky could have left.
