Nichelle Nichols died July 30 at the age of 89.

I actually had to look that up after hearing something on the radio about William Shatner which (wth the part that I did catch) sounded as if he had passed, where my colleague stated Uhuru was the one that died.

Never was much for ST:TOS, but I can say she made an impact on a generation. RIP
