Posted: Fri Jan 07, 2022 1:49 pmI'm more than a week late finding out about this, as usual, buuut... to those familiar with American football (or even played a round of Moonbase Alpha), John Madden passed away on December 28 at the age of 85. 
The cause of his death was not known at the time it was reported, but I'm assuming it was due to natural causes.
