Kicking off with…

The tl;dr: Lum is on boxes of soy sauce noodles. Ranma-kun and -chan are on boxes of miso noodles. Both versions look to be tasty enough that there will be much pulling a Kuno: “I must have them both!”

Then Shampoo should be on boxes of ramen noodles. Let's not include Cologne - it might put customers off their feed.

Even Marine training doesn’t prepare you for everything.

Just a normal afternoon playtime for those of us who grew up with LOTS of snow.

Throwing a snowball at them? Open challenge for total war! :P

"A prairie nun becomes involved in the fur trade during the Winter Olympics but in a 'Little Mosque on the Prairie' kind of way."

"A dog crosses the Rockies in the Day-Glo version of Newfoundland they show you in the tourism ads, learning that surviving is a victory all its own."

"Three undergraduates from diverse backgrounds absent-mindedly attempt to make it to a Drake concert during the Great Fire of Toronto, barely escaping the weather."

"A man and his dog write Laura Secord erotic fan-fiction only to be forced into a life-and-death struggle with a whale."

Some of it reminds me of the CanLit I had to read in college.

And some doesn't:

"A dog gets government funding on a stolen houseboat, with surprisingly few negative results" Damn Obama! ( wait, I can't blame him - Damn 49th parallel! )

"A man and his dog go hunting in a one room cabin while working for the Hudson's Bay Company" - I think Elmer Fudd was in this one

"A family and their dog visit rich New York relations on a motorcycle only to be killed by Vikings" - Now there's an unexpected twist!

"Gordie Howe moves into an apartment Leonard Cohen once live in only to be killed by Vikings." Two minute slashing penalty on the Vikings!

"A woman and her dog try acid at a concert, only to be killed by Vikings." These Vikings are everywhere!

The Brits tend to be very slow at approving new rail-related equipment, but here is a piece of gear that was driven through the process at ludicrous speed: http://www.railengineer.uk/2016/04/20/safe-tea/ — A self-contained tea dispenser that fits on a regular tool trolley. Definitely worth a squee or three.

The current joke here is that Iceland has the world’s best lager: Lagerbäck.

The Swede Lars Lagerbäck coaches the Icelandic national football (soccer for those that speak American) team. The team struck England out of the UEFA Euro 2016 last night, leading to jokes like: “England: The country that left Europe twice in one week.”

And i´m totally cheering for the Icelandic team! They´ve been one of the best teams in the tournament and totally deserved their well played win against England.

So many teams not playing seriously, while Iceland worked hard and played as a team, i hope they win a "few" more matches!
